I see a lot of people calling zerging cheesing and even in AGS eyes, it’s considered not the right way. Riddle me this…
There are like 3-4 elite areas in the game with 1000+ people on a server. What was expected from us when this endgame was creatsd? Like what is the right way?
Should we start queues for farming sessions?
Oh right obs… yes, let me spend 10 hours making this orb to go get a bunch of loot that is irrelevant.
It’s so shallow. Maybe if dungeons had a chance to drop an orb, more people would do them? Maybe if leveling crafting contributed to gear score?
Maybe just delete gearscore and give really (and I stress really) rare dope weapons and armor drops in these endgame dungeons… I mean I think everyone could agree that they’d rather be grinding dungeons than mindlessly

i agree with this, the water mark system is probably one of the stupidest most unfun systems, id rather just do outpost rush and pvp then participate but now all the outpost rush gear is useless because of my watermark.
You need to set up a community Discord that everyone is in, and adjust your sleep schedules accordingly so that you can have orderly 5 man groups rotating in every 15 minutes.
Shit wait, even at that rate it wouldn’t get everyone handled in a day.
What’s the math behind that? How often would a 5 man group have to run through there to cover everyone on a server every 24 hours?
Does the population cap on the server even make sense when you consider the developers stance of zerging not being intended?
I run 2 full zergs every day and I absolutely hate it as endgame content.
But the OP is correct. You have in reality 4 zones that are worth grinding your HWM especially when you are into 580+ Sirens, Mines, Myrk, Pools.
There is nowhere close to enough content in these 4 zones to handle a server of 2000 people. There is barely enough to handle my server of 500 people or less.
So, instead we group up as a community event and we run it together so everyone gets some loot from all the chests in game, then small groups can break off to camp bosses.
These recent changes severed that.
For one the Luck for flagging change now makes it so everyone runs flagged, our server is HEAVY one-sided purple so green/yellow no longer get to play the game.
For another the rewards have been nerfed so less and less people want to go, or even play at all since that was all they really had left to do.
And lastly you have expeditions, which you don’t really want to start running UNTIL you have HWM to the point where those big drops can be legendary. Plus there is some seriously bugged out problems happening in Gen/Laz that half the time will cost you your key… Or the server will crash which is the new thing since the weekend. Nobody wants to grind out keys at all.
I dislike the zerg gameplay, but there just isn’t any other gameplay at the moment. For AGS to then nerf the only thing we had around to do in the middle of everything else just seemed like… well poor timing.
