This is not a ban appeal request. Please don’t delete. This is a question about the appeal process.
If you go to the appeal website and click on “web ticket”, there is a section to link files that says, “If available, include links to screenshots, logs, or recordings to help troubleshoot your issue.”
Can you please clarify which files/logs to send the moderation team during a ban appeal. If you ask customer support this question they say to ask the moderation department, and if you ask the moderation department they do not respond. I tried to search the forums, but I didn’t see the answer.
Are these the logs they are looking for? Are there any other files they want?
Logs in-game
Press Windows+R on the keyboard, type %localappdata% and press enter.
Open the most recent file from this folder: AGS/New World/LogBackups.
Send the logs file that you see in the LogBackups folder.
I know you moderators here have no part in the appeal process, but I hope you’re willing to ask one of your moderator colleagues this question. It would help a lot of players.
Thanks for bringing this concern to us, in order to add information to the ticket you need to include links with screenshots or the game logs (please make sure to include the whole log), it can be a sharing tool or a cloud storage like Google Drive.
Thanks for responding, but I’m asking which logs/files should you be sending? Are the logs I mentioned that are found in AGS/New World/LogBackups the correct ones?
