We might return to New World, but getting kicked from invasions/wars was what drove us away from the game. Is that still implemented or did they change it?

Why would that change?
in fact its worse than it was originally since now they want certain gear scores and want you to link weapons in whispers(and some want to add your gearscore to the roster so they can kick you faster without thought or hesitation)
server guild leaders make spreadsheets of people that sign up in discord and log how you do in a war(assuming you get in one) and if you cant even get on the spreadsheet you basicly have no chance of being slotted(chosen for war/invasion).
so no they have not improved that unfortunately.
Yes happened to us by own faction after merge.
You can literally kick people 10sec before winning an invasion too so you don’t get reward.
You can kick people back to standby queue and get auto accepted and get caught in this loop so all you’re doing is in a loading screen.
It’s pretty bad. I just take note of the companies and territory’s and don’t participate.
Three weeks later they can’t field a whole group to even win an invasion and all their things getting destroyed.

This game need to implement something like invasion difficulties scaling based on the GS of participants so that people would be more relaxed on who can participate because right now companies will naturally want the best chance to win an invasion. So unless they have no other choice they will naturally take a strong player than a weaker one. Of course game needs to lock gears once event starts so people cannot cheat the system by wearing low GS gear upon entering invasion then swapping to higher GS gears before it starts.
100% if you have a bow, yes. Anything else probably ok.

Yeah the GS thing is a slippery slope after playing Wow for so long.
On one hand I enjoy not being judged by that alone but do like participating.
I know some players like we all do that we’re just carried to 625 and really suck.
GS is just an indicator of how much you play and others hope you learned enough along the way to do your job,

That’s what happened to one of our guildmates that finally got into an invasion. They kicked him when the invasion was won but before he could get a reward because he wasn’t in their guild. He said he contacted AGS support to see if that was a legit thing to do, but you know how that went. AGS support couldn’t understand that he was actually in the event and kicked at the end, they kept repeating that some players might not be able to participate in each event. No matter how many times he explained he was in the event the entire time contributing, they simply kept repeating a message like it was copy/paste response. He concluded that AGS support doesn’t understand their own game.
So, we concluded that it must be a 100% okay tactic to kick people after the invasion was won, since support never could understand the situation. So, we’re simply waiting for the kick system to be removed. We can get high gear score. We can do a lot in OPR, but our guild isn’t big enough to compete at certain levels but we wanted to contribute. j
Anyways, back to other games. I’m almost glad the kick system exists because it got us out of this bug ridden game and into other things now.
