Is it possible to tank without sword and shield and still be ok? I personally would love to tank with hatchet and great axe but don’t know if it’s possible. If it is or isn’t I would still love for you to share your weapon setups !

Yes both hatchet and great axe have skills that allow you to aggro when a carnelian gem is inserted in the gem slot of the weapon. You’re not going to be very effective at blocking with a hatchet though the great axe does decently.

I am a healer and tank in 90% of cases, because a tank cannot hold agr and put carnelian in a sword… I’m not sure I’m happy about that.

Yh, those crystals should be the first thing you get as a tank sorry your experience hasn’t been going too well.
I ran Amrine with a greataxe user who was an effective off-tank for mobs. Not as good on the bosses, though, because of the damage they do. I’m a tank, and I go sword-and-board with carnelian gem for the taunt and extra aggro.

Respectfully, not sure why people even ask for tanks when LFG. Because no one knows their role and lets the tank, well, tank. Ran Armine several times only to have Healers and DPS pull mobs, stand in front of the boss while fighting, and basically try and be tank until they get smacked silly by the mobs. Players in this game DO NOT play their roles effectively and let the tank, tank. They really need to go back to Skyrim.
