Cannot bind arrow keys as movement keys

I am posting this as a bug as I was able to bind my directional arrow keys as movement keys when I started playing this game some 1,000 hours ago and I recently experimented with switching the bindings to something else. I did not like the new binds and tried to switch back to my original setup and I cannot bind the directional arrows as movement keys anymore.
I cannot play the game using WASD as my movement keys and I want to be bale to re-bind the arrow keys

• (if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: I cannot play the game without using those keys (I am lefthanded)

Open this file with notepad or some editor:
C:\Users\ <your_user> \AppData\Roaming\AGS\New World\rebinds.xml

And you need to change movement inputs like this:

Do you guys have plans on making 2 key keybinds? For example Shift + 1 , Alt + X etc? Right now it will only take the second key that you press.

I think it’s quite clear this is issue is not intended and this configuration change doesn’t hurt anyone. It’s already a configuration file that declares your keybinds.

And, arguably, this is not a “Game Client” or “Game Content”, rather a Game Configuration file, something that I wouldn’t apply to either of those categories.

Wait until the patch from PTR gets put into Live if you don’t want to.

I have been banned 4 times in this game for stupid shit , like farming , having too much coin , calling someone a dooshbag , and duping , none of which were substantiated although I had to wait weeks at times for AGS to restore my access to the game , so I will have to pass on any behaviour that contains ambiguities that may be interpreted as violating the TOS by AGS .
