I am trying to complete the “Still, we rise” main story quest in Cutlass Keys which requires you to “Cleanse the Cave of Corrupted Orbs with your Azoth staff” - however, it won’t let me interact with the orbs because I need a level 1 Azoth staff - but the quest line has already upgraded my Azoth staff to level 2.
The staff upgrade comes as an item did you wear it? Top-right item category of your inventory ( tools category )
Same for me…can’t use the staff because it’s not level 1…for my friends they don’t have this problem they can interact with the orbs with their lvl 2 staff…completely annoying.
Did you find a way to finsh the quest ?

Yeah it was my fault my staff was in my inventory and not in is slut near the tools

A solution that was considered was to attempt a trade of the Level 1 Azoth staff from a secondary character. But the issue is with the character creation, as it can not be done on the same server.
Friend 1 - Character 1 - Trades Azoth Staff Level 1 →
Friend 2 - Character 1 - Receives Azoth Staff Level 1 →
Friend 2 - Character 1 - Trades Azoth Staff Level 1 →
Friend 1 - Character 2 - Receives Azoth Staff Level 1
This could be a potential solution although it would mean jumping servers, also I have not seen an indication that the staff is Bind on pick up. Is there any better solutions to this issue??
