Cannot create a character on a server with low pop and no one in queu

US East Atvatabar, 0700 MST… cannot create a character. There is no one on the world… what gives?

Or

Maybe explain how a world can show LOW pop, no one in queue but NW webpage shows THAT SINGLE world is full? Out of ALL the worlds in US East, only two have medium pop and I created characters in those.

Has NW made this world defaulted to “show FULL”?

Essentially, the server is still “full” with characters on it from players who are no longer playing, moved to other servers etc. Until as such time as those characters are deleted, recognised by the devs as inactive or some other measure taken. The server will continue to be “Full” while not being full. It is an issue that is popping up more and more, as people move on from the game or to other servers.

Edit: Until Dev’s take into a account concurrent populations and make closing/opening servers more flexible I don’t see it resolved anytime soon.

Thanks for the insight, of course all my buds are on the ONLY “perma full” server, lol. I take it they dont read these threads?

Mods are meant to draw attention to devs issues that arise in forums for their attention. As well some devs will go through forums esp. bugs etc. However that doesn’t mean every issue raised will necessarily receive the attention it is due. There are priorities within all of this, that means some issues are more important to highlight/notify than others.

So don’t hold your breath, but also don’t feel as though it won’t be addressed. Servers populations are a fairly important issue.
