Cannot use any normal attacks in the game, only abilities, even if i log out and log back in. Tried dying multiple times and respawning, tried looting chests, tried drowning, tried gathering from different types of nodes. Nothing allows me to swing a sword or shoot a gun anymore. Checked my keybind settings, everything is fine, checked to see if my mouse is working fine and it is.
I’m sorry for the problem you had with the left-click attack.
I’m glad that the issue fixed it itself. However I will gonna report this to the devs team so they can investigate more the situation.
In other hand I would like to share the steps to verify the integrity of the games files to check is there any corrupted files that is causing the problem if this happen again in the future.

Same, lose left click all the time, restart, wait 2 hours in queue, so great !
Try unlock, transfert, back home, remove all set, change keyword… but nothing change, the left click definetly doesn’t work.
You need either to fully die for example if you’re on expedition or REPEAT last step before it stopped working.
For example changing range weapon to melee weapon causes melee weapon left click to stop working - you need to equip you range weapon again and then swap it with melee again - it will start working again.
Sometimes it stops working after you minimize the game - you need to minimize it again to start working.
Another reason it stops working is if you gather any nodes for example silver ore - sometimes after you finish you no longer can left click attack - you need to gather another ore, after you do that left click will work again.
So randomly light attack / left click stop working and i cant attack enemy… until i die/respawn. Gathering resources or swapping weapons dont fix it. It seems to randomly happen at least once an hour or more… especially during expeditions but also in open world. I use spear+bow.
I am sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue. Unfortunately, the work arounds you mention that are not working for you are the only ones we have had other players try and work for them but this has been brought to the devs attention and is currently reviewed.
