Cannot Reset 'Protective Wyrd' questline

• Character Name: RottenBoy

• Issue that occurred: The Protective Wyrd is a questline where users craft 5 pieces of gear which will later be used as material to craft an Epic version. However, these gears are salvageable and there are no hints to their importance later on. As such, users have reported the inability to craft the final epic gears, resulting in a UI in the workshop that stays there. My issue is that my gear dissapeared from my inventory (much like another user who plays with me), or it could had been salvaged by accident (I can admit this could had occured to me, but not to my friend). As such, I wished to RESET the quest, however, all it causes is the other quest step to bug out and go blank. Relogging will only result in it to remain the same. As such, I would like to have an option to allow the gear to be recrafted or the reset option of the quest to work as intended.

• Any steps that can be taken to reproduce the issue: Taking the quest, but prior to finishing all 5 parts, you try to 'Reset it.

same thing happened to me, salvaged the first item before noticing we needed all of them to complete the quest. when i talk to the npc : violante severino, my quest get synced back to where i was before.

I too salvaged my entire set, not realizing I would need them later. Should I try resetting the quest myself and seeing if I can re-craft the whole set?

Yep I am stuck in the same boat I salvaged them…and now I will have quests which I cannot complete. Nothing about those previous tiers indicated I we needed to hold onto the items or even that they had a quest icon on them. PLEASE address this.

Suggestion for devs

Lock the item from being salvaged or dropped and mark it with a quest icon like other quest items are marked on your inventory.

This simple fix can help prevent this event from happening again and sadly I accept that I may not be able to complete this quest again. but this would help save the rest.

Well that sucks. Looks like another company that didn’t think these things through and of course, us as the consumer are left with nothing. I submitted mine anyways but I’m glad you got a response. Thanks for the update man.
