Can't bind switch weapon to mouse wheel

i can’t bind switch weapon to mouse wheel up/down for fast switching. i can bind zoom in/out to mouse wheel but not switch weapon. i only use mouse to play the game due to having 1 hand. can you please help?

This is interesting because previously I was able to bind weapon swap to my mouse wheel. This is either a new change/bug or perhaps something is going wrong when you are attempting it? I will try to rebind my mouse wheel and let you know if I have the same problem.

So I am still able to bind to my mouse wheel to weapon switch. It actually is defaulted to my mouse wheel. What you need to do is unbind the LALT key from the CYCLE WEAPON MODIFIER button, then assign a button to CAMERA ZOOM MODIFIER; you can use LALT there, but then you also need to change FREE LOOK from LALT to something else. I use LALT for CAMERA ZOOM MODIFIER then set FREE LOOK to F1 personally. If you do what I did, or something similar, you will have weapon switch on the mouse wheel. Good luck out there!

i tried unbind cycle weapon modifier (or bind to something else) and changed bind to zoom in/out then bound cycle weapon to mouse wheel up/down. and still it won’t work. not sure if i need to reinstall the game or not. going to default keyboard setting won’t work either.
