hello new world devs i tried to play the game again today but i cant connect to the character i made also cant connect to a new server anymore after a month break.
the quit and setting button also dont reply to close the game i gotta press alt +f4 because nothing in the lobbie works for me

First lets run an integrity check on Steam:
1-Restart your computer and launch Steam.
2-Next, you can either right click the game in your Library, or click the gear icon from the game’s Library page on the far right.
3-From the drop down menu, select Properties.
4-Select the Local Files tab and click the Verify integrity of game files button.
Steam will verify the game’s files - this process may take several minutes.

hello i did that it did not work trying now to do a fresh windows instal if that would work
the game did not work at all on my other windows copy i hope this new windows copy will do the job only sad thing is i gotta download all new world again so twice today
@Demolz , sorry you that you have gone through so much to fix what was likely a simple problem. Once your install of windows is complete your problem should be corrected since the two directories most associated with file corruption in the game will have been rebuilt. However in the future you’ll find the quickest way to rectify it yourself in the following post.
