I was excited to try this game again after the update, but what I have encountered so far has really persuaded me it might no be worth playing anymore. I tried a couple of new chars, but i was not happy with them. When I tried to create again I was told I had created too many and I would have to wait 9 hours to create again.
This seems absolutely ridiculous. I have paid for the game, and yet I am being told I can’t play for another 9 hours. I also tried to look for the new WEAPON racks on the starting beaches and failed to see anything looking like that.
I have a 60 which I have been playing for months so never paid attention to the patch note about creating a new character too many times will ban you. I was starting a new character on my second guy and read in recent patch notes about getting weapon option at Windsward watcher on the start beach and was trying to get there. I got Monarch’s Bluffs 3 times in a row and when I tried a 4th I got banned from the game for 17 hours. This is asinine.
The people I linked up with at the start of release have all quit, none are going back. My current problem really shows you how badly the game is being managed. I appreciate the hard work that has gone into creating the game, but all that has followed has been really terrible.
From the forums AGS response… “A warning before the cooldown also makes sense and I totally agree, however it’s a new element that we’ve added and we are already working on it to provide the best Aeternum experience.”
Over 3 months since their stupid patch and they still have not addressed this, screwing paying customers with 17 hour bans because the devs are too incompetent to control bots. our “best Aeternum experience”? Your a sh.t show.
