Does anyone know when downtime ends, it was 1 hour ago when servers went offline with the 15MB patch. I cant locate anywhere when they will be back up! Why wouldn’t this be in the communication about downtime? lol

Thats a long time for 2 bugfixes that they should have pre-tested…lol

It’s always minimum 3 hours. Bigger patches sometimes take longer.
Crazy to think they can merge whole server groups in under 2 hours but can’t apply a tiny patch in less than 3 hours.

Their communication manager/community person needs a little chat in the conference room about how to communicate properly. Would be great if folks with the job title that is specific to communication actually did their role, even though its a small comms - kinda helpful when it affects tens of thousands of people - just sayn!

I wonder if it would be at all possible to give an ETA on when the servers are due to come back up and… maybe give more than an hour’s notice that they are coming down in game please?
I know there are various forums, platforms, etc. where information in published, but I am not hugely into social media and tbh when I am playing New World, I don’t want to go afk every few hours to check if there’s planned downtime coming…
If there is going to be downtime on a Wednesday, couldn’t an in-game message be displayed, (where the planned downtime message is currently displayed), stating downtime incoming and approx. how long this will last?
I feel this would really help people to plan when they can play.

the publication says that in Europe they open the servers at 7.00 but they are 9.00 and they are still in maintenance
