So after 1.1 i’m unable to find a group for elite chest runs and pve farming.
My faction on my server has one big company which does chest runs once a day and if you’re not online and part of that company you are unable to find someone to do said content.
Everyone refuses to group up without PVP enabled for the additional luck.
Before the patch hit i could always find a group of players from different factions for the daily chest runs or doing some elite farming, but now - nothing.
All that is left to do for me is gathering crafting materials.
I have no problem with being flagged for PVP but the way it was implemented in this patch killed the whole game for me.
This is game is surely dying, slowly but surely… day after day peopla i know stopped loggin in…
Well they kinda killed the factions working together for pve content this way, intentionally or not this is why people were upset they used an older build and threw this to live. Had all this been on ptr for a month or two and the feedback/ reports listened too alot of the changes wouldn’t of happened this way.
Not saying the pvp luck idea is bad but you have to look at how it would effect player interactions. Then see the best possible ways to form a balance while still doing the goal you set out to do.
PvP and PvE are very different beasts and tend to work against one anothers goals.
The solution is simple, allow flagged players to join mixed faction groups. Let them all stay flagged, but while they are grouped, disable damage to group members.
And while they’re at it, since they thought it was a fantastically brilliant idea to make end game areas too hard for most groups of 5 people, they could also increase group size to 10.
Solution is indeed simple but OP got shafted.
The OP might be labelled a ‘carebear’ for not being on the correct faction
