I go to the Bear, I forget it’s name to get the quest to start the Azoth Staff tier V and it just says leave.

Yes, I can’t get the tier V azoth Staff. I think it is also causing me not to be able to get the main story quests in Brimstone. I can get to Brimstone and do the faction quests but NPC will not give me main story quests. may be related.

What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced:
Very easy. I just have to go to the bear and request the quest and it will tell me to leave without giving the quest.

It happened several months ago when I was playing. Stopped playing for about 7 months and just came back 2 weeks ago and tried to get the quest 10/19/22 not sure of time but EST with the same bug/result.
Did you go to Brimstone right after finishing the quest “A Selfless Nature”? If that is the case, you may be stuck since you need that T5 Azoth staff to proceed in Brimstone Sands. You’d need to reach out to our CS team to see if they can assist you while the team is working on a fix.
I finished "A Selfless Nature” quest a long time ago. You can proceed to Brimstone without the the tier 5 staff. Just once you get there you can only do the faction quests. Most everything else you can’t do, like getting glyphs, main story line quests… It pretty much is leaving me out of things my guild is doing and enjoying Brimstone is now seriously limited. I’ve gone there and grabbed all the shrines. The problem I have is I can’t get the bear Gristle to give me the quest(Tempest’s Heart Quest) to get the tier 5 staff. Can you help?
You’ll need to have the T5 azoth staff to access most of the Brimstone Content. If you don’t have it, you’ll need to wait for the fix the team is working on.
Got back to the npc Adiana and she gave me a few different quests but finally after completing them all it led me to Gristle and the Azoth tier V staff finally. Thanks for help!
