Cant make new posts of forums

Anyone get the issue where they cant post new topics, the option is grey out and i have to do a bunch of things to work around it.

i’ve been ‘basic level’ since july and have never been able to post a new topic.

That’s strange that you’re having trouble posting new topics. Are you trying to create a post in a main category?

If so, that’s probably why you’re having trouble. To make sure that posts are categorized by the right language, you’ll need to click into the subset of categories to make the post. If you’re still having trouble, please dm me. Everyone who has a forum account should be able to post here!

Yeah I’m in the sub categories and sometimes it will be greyed out until I navigate the site randomly and it works eventually.

okay the reason I got confused is the mod had it the wrong way around. It looks like you can only make a “new topic” from the main page, then you pick a category from the dropdown. If you navigate into a subcategory e.g. game feedback or bugs, “new topic” will always be grayed out

It also seems like certain threads are locked despite being much less than a month old and I can’t reply to anyone, for example Taxes are way too high - #23 by Dutchcash

yeah umm that’s not normal… i’ve made a few topics in game feedback and just used the new topic button.

I can make a new topic here, the option can be highlighted and clicked on.
