Cant make Winter Convergence Wrapping Paper (town board quest)

  • What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: Try to make paper again, and cant. I logged off and back in, still had the same problem.

It says that I need Convergence Wrapping Paper to make Convergence Wrapping Paper… How can you do this? Is this an error and I need something else to make the paper?
Do I need presents?

It says you need Convergence Wrapping Paper… You actually need PRESENTS that you have found.

THIS NEEDS CHANGING…

Sadly, in the PTR all the Winter Quests on the Town Board were not there as the ‘governors’ hadn’t included them.

This meant that we couldn’t test these Town Board quests. Now it is live, we have to deal with the problems as they arrive…

I did put in a ticket about Town Board ‘Winter Quests’ on the PTR… but heard no reply, and nothing was done.

Hi

what kind of presents? I found presents on ground, or looted from trees and it still doesn’t work.

I had to go to a different settlement in order to complete the board quest. It may have been that I hadn’t unwrapped one of the presents from the tree though, so not entirely sure. Maybe someone else can verify?

I think it’s all the Outfitting station winter event quest crafting.

I can’t make the Fiber Gleamite String either.

I didn’t think about the presents, but what I believe was the solution was going back to the town that I acquired the board quest from. that gave me the Craft ability

I don’t know about all of the items you need to craft for the town board winter fest… but having presents IN my inventory worked for me when making the wrapping paper, and the toys…
Maybe you need to have the presents in either your inventory or the storage shed where you are crafting the item?

This thread was about the Wrapping Paper.

I really dont know about the rest as I am saving up presents for the Yetti store.

BUT presents are the answer for the WRAPPING PAPER and TOYS.

Maybe you need Gleamite…

AGS really should have made it clear what you actually need to craft an item.

As I said before, in the PTR these items were NOT on the town boards as the governors were lazy and did not include them…We couldn’t test things out. Therefore they are untested and full of problems.

I was able to craft mine at a T3 Outfitting station seems T5 they show up as un-craftable.
