Can't remember the last time I had fun in OPR and all the PVE is to blame

Interesting idea on the baroness. If the score was close it wouldn’t work that well. Could be if you are ahead by 100+ points there is no lock.

If you cut brute hp in half there’s no point having it. Would drop way to fast I think.

That’s a lot more work as unposed to simply just adjusting opr. If they don’t just remove the pve elements entirely, then they can simply nerf pve into the ground and remove rewards from pve players because they have the entire open world and dungeons to pve in

It was never a pvp mode and shouldn’t be taken away from people who like it.

They could easily make a pvp arena. They do a coliseum type of thing with a countdown and wall that drops on go time. You guys kill each other. Most powerful/skilled wins. No need for taking points or anything.

Nope, just remove pve from opr. Much faster then waiting 6 months for an arena. Y’all have the entire open world and dungeons to farm pve in. Opr is the only thing readily available to pvp in. Y’all especially don’t deserve the same rewards as us when our challenge is increasingly more difficult. Matter of fact, pve players should not get rewards at all in opr because once again, they have the entire open world and dungeons for it

Because so-called PvPers in this and many other MMO games are NOT INTERESTED in PvP. They are interested in exploiting as much as possible and doing AS LITTLE PvP as possible.

If farming Brutes is the surest way to guarantee an OPR reward, you can bet they will do it.
Just like they farmed pigs and bears in PvE until they got to max level and max weapon skills.

The truth is, very very few players are genuinely interested in PvP and all the effort to supporting it should be cancelled as a waste of time and resources.

I love how you act like pvp players were the only ones to exploit in the game. There is zero data that supports that and there never will be. Only thing data can prove is that most players only Pve to gear for pvp

I like both pvp and pve so im not included in y’all. You need to accept opr is a pvevp mode and not strictly for pvpers. Opr can stay the way it is.

Make a post about what you would like to see in terms of a pvp arena. That may better benefit your cause.

Oh sounds so fun. Me heavy swing at heavy, dont move from circle. All the while getting pinged in the head. That would never work and make for boring gameplay.

What are you possibly referring to? You want to just farm pve in opr? Because 99% of the player base don’t want that

ALT F4 when you can’t win is the biggest coward playstyle possible, hurting every Player in your Team.

People Like you should be Banned from OPR for a Week doing that.

Well that’s the biggest load of crap I’ve read today, congrats.

What does that have to do with anything? You are talking about putting heavy armor in concrete shoes. I was telling you why thats a terribly unbalanced idea.

Kekw. Do you perhaps also believe that there is a chip in the vaccine or are you only this delusional when it comes to new world?

Its true. We have Seen how every Exploit available has been Used to find the easiest way to Take over territorys.

Yes because no PvE players exploit ever…

Am I being trolled here? You got me.

Havnt Said PVErs don’t Use exploits, Other then you i would never deny that fact.

So obviously you are the Troll Here.

It’s not an arena…
That might come later.

They need to put long cooldown on Brute abilities that should reduce the annoyance. Right now, if you have two brutes on either sides of an outpost, and you’re standing in the middle, the mobs will spam knockdown balls. PvE mobs should not have control abilities, especially not without cooldown.

When the PVP in OPR isn’t full of basically the same types of players doing the same thing but pretending to PVP and when the times your team gets spawn camped so hard you spend 20 minutes dying and get nothing for it and, to be blunt, when PVP in OPR is actually really fun and well designed…

I’ll consider not brute trolling. The most fun I’ve ever had in OPR is the PVE part of it (and you cannot ignore the PVP part of it if the other team actually bother to try to stop you, which is still fun), enough to ensure the 500 points are banked so you get the rewards and then using the stuff you farm to help your team push points. That does include spawning a brute in front of a group of players and watching them scatter as you use it as a shield. Once the 500 points are banked, I’m happy to do anything really, including a little PVP… unless they’re these dex players you are ranting about, pretending to PVP, in which case I ignore them; much like I ignore the tanks that you just cannot kill on point no matter how much you hit them or the healers that just dance about on the walls forever until they eventually run away with their secondary rapier/fire staff. Basically, the crapness you describe extends to a whole host of builds and I’m sorry to say that I’ve not played many a PVP game as poorly designed as the PVP that manifests itself in OPR in all my time playing online games. So, no thanks to that. But I’ll take the rubies, thanks.

Mass brute spawning doesn’t always work anyway but my word when it does work it’s hilarious; also, since I started doing this, I’ve seen way more balanced fights where both teams push the points right to the end. Funny how that works out.

The 750 point bump will slow brute spawning down some (and I think it’s a good change, our record is getting 5 brutres up simultaneously and, as stupendous as that event was, that’s just silly) but there’s not a chance I’m going to PVP exclusively in OPR until the PVP is of an acceptable quality.

The dude you’re agreeing with is saying that PvPers aren’t interested in actual PvP, they’re only interested in exploiting which is a total crock, yet you agree with him.

He uses this BS argument to try and form a case for removing all forms of PvP altogether. And you’re agreeing with him.

There are people that enjoy exploiting in games, it’s not only PvP players, but PvE players as well. If you don’t enjoy PvP, that’s perfectly fine, but there’s no need to fabricate shit just because you don’t like it.
