Can't remember the last time I had fun in OPR and all the PVE is to blame

lol basically. No need to remove certain things on the way the only OPR works because some don’t like it.

Yeah, cross server would be nice. I’d imagine it would be popping off on a regular basis. People could play it exclusively if they wanted.

Not sure about that statement . Everyone and their moms on my server always hated brutes ( melee / ranged / healer / tank ) everyone

I just wish I could figure out OPR rankings.

I noted the other day that I was ranked lower than several people, despite my having more player and NPC kills, fewer deaths, and more contributed resources than all of them. That’s the information shown in the rankings, but apparently there are other metrics being used to compute ranking?

150 for kills 50 for assist, after it some shady shit for healing because somehow they top 5 always . And of course you get 0 points for caping a fort so everyone just rush sol at start of game. Kills = finishing player not downing him ( might be the worst points mechanic of all)

Healers get a lot of points for healing.

As long as capping and actually defending bases rewards no points in any other way, I will focus on upgrading a base and throwing in 1 or 2 brutes to defend it. Bite me. The PvP is a bland experience. So I’m just in it for the gypsum and gold.

Until brutes a pve points is inevitably nerfed

I really like the resource gathering to improve forts side of things and even baron (I think the score locking should only apply if the losing team gets the kill tho, makes it too stompy currently) but the brute just has waaaaay too much health for how strong his meatballs are. Give the meatball a 10s cooldown, or cut brute hp in half, if we have to have them

You guys are trying to turn it into a pvp mode when you should be asking for a pvp only mode. Wouldn’t that make more sense?

it’s a pvevp game mode

str throwing axe build is the hardest and least rewarding playstyle in the game and that’s why literally no one does it.

Interesting idea on the baroness. If the score was close it wouldn’t work that well. Could be if you are ahead by 100+ points there is no lock.

If you cut brute hp in half there’s no point having it. Would drop way to fast I think.

That’s a lot more work as unposed to simply just adjusting opr. If they don’t just remove the pve elements entirely, then they can simply nerf pve into the ground and remove rewards from pve players because they have the entire open world and dungeons to pve in

It was never a pvp mode and shouldn’t be taken away from people who like it.

They could easily make a pvp arena. They do a coliseum type of thing with a countdown and wall that drops on go time. You guys kill each other. Most powerful/skilled wins. No need for taking points or anything.

Nope, just remove pve from opr. Much faster then waiting 6 months for an arena. Y’all have the entire open world and dungeons to farm pve in. Opr is the only thing readily available to pvp in. Y’all especially don’t deserve the same rewards as us when our challenge is increasingly more difficult. Matter of fact, pve players should not get rewards at all in opr because once again, they have the entire open world and dungeons for it

Because so-called PvPers in this and many other MMO games are NOT INTERESTED in PvP. They are interested in exploiting as much as possible and doing AS LITTLE PvP as possible.

If farming Brutes is the surest way to guarantee an OPR reward, you can bet they will do it.
Just like they farmed pigs and bears in PvE until they got to max level and max weapon skills.

The truth is, very very few players are genuinely interested in PvP and all the effort to supporting it should be cancelled as a waste of time and resources.

I love how you act like pvp players were the only ones to exploit in the game. There is zero data that supports that and there never will be. Only thing data can prove is that most players only Pve to gear for pvp
