Can't socket gems into Old Ring, Earring, Amulet

There was a thread about this about 2 weeks ago where a dev officially stated that the ring cant “currently” accept gems and they are aware of it.

So hopefully it gets fixed.

Bump, just wasted a ton of gold buying this ring on the TP, only to find the empty gem slot cannot receive a gem, which makes no sense whatsoever.

Cannot replace this gem, there isn’t any.

ETA. I did not buy the ring. This was gotten from the gypsum craft.

yeah someone on the community team responded to another post saying it was an unintentional bug an that they spoke to the dev team about it. HOPEFULLY it gets fixed asap, otherwise outside of named jewelry that has gems in it already, any other jewelry you get is pointless. unless its a serious upgrade over your current jewelry an can hold you over until you can get better, crafted jewelry with gems in them.

Can not “replace” this gem (but it’s visually an empty socket) - Gem Is not compatible with that item… (what where do get compatible (old?) gem) ?

They’ve acknowledged… Old Ring bug or misleading?

issue since start of the game. I asked ingame chat and some people said you only can put in a gem while crafting a ring… but idk what devs say to this

One of the community managers responded somewhere about this, an at first was like oh no thats intentional. Then came back an replied again sayin wait no, its a bug i just got word from the dev team. So apparently they are aware of it, and it is a bug so i am hoping this gets fixed sooner then later. Otherwise whats the point of getting jewelry drops
