Can't store items although settlement storage isn't full

• What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: I just tried to store bait in my storage and I couldn’t, although I have plenty of space

I ran into this issue recently, apparently there is a 500 unique item limit per storage area. I think it is very annoying, as it means having a centralized place for craft mods and rare items is not a long term option. Hopefully they change it in the future, maybe it is something infrastructure-side that requires the game to have this limit.
