Look through dev posts they clarified.
These are indeed crashes that flag an auto message to show it going into maintenance when in reality it’s crashing and rebooting.
They said they don’t know why. But they said they were working really hard to figure it out so there is that…lol

This seem to have started after they deployed a “fix” for servers jumping forward in time, after there was a rash of reports of several servers doing it.
I suspect they didn’t actually fix anything and just implemented some software to monitor the server state/logs and look for a signature hat it happened. Then it automatically takes the server offline for maintenance and does a short rollback or some other hackery.
