Casual words to another casuals that complain MMO requires

I have seen a lot of complaints and topics here.
I am casual, I know many people who are too. Yes at the beginning this difference was visible, but after weeks, months of playing it fades and the gameplay becomes more balanced - I guess that’s the point of MMOs to make the gameplay long-term. At least that’s what I expect from an MMO.
Today’s casuals are terribly demanding, they want to kill the sense of progression and character expansion - because they have less time and feel that if someone has more it’s not fair. I guess that’s why MOBA games were created, but some people still expect the sense of an MMO game to be shallow just for the sake of their own situation.
What I love about MMOs is that step by step I develop my character, get another BIS and after months of regular play I don’t feel at all that I am inferior or behind.
MMOs are all about regularity, consistency and simply loving the genre and character development.
If you don’t have the time to do this or expect everything quickly because your worldview says it’s fair then you are sadly wrong and hypocrisy speaks through you. You don’t love MMOs and wouldn’t appreciate something that is acquired quickly and for something that is acquired harder you have no ambition or desire.

Just stop and play MOBA or develop your character, spend some months and you will notice that everything that you thought is not true.

Sorry if you don’t enjoy that, but that’s how MMO works, it’s not specific at NW. Back in the day at vanilla and after, it was exactly the same with WoW for example. Farm Onyxia every week, until Moten Core comes out, then farm Molten Core every week until Black Wing lairs comes out…

Yet I had a ball playing wow, eso, bdo and never ran the same dungeon more than once.
There was a lot more to do than chase BiS in every slot and the pvp environments were fun to play. New world has nothing, if you want a break from mutation or gang banging an elite, go chop some more trees, go lol at OPR. I think this games biggest problem is trying to be less traditional and sure maybe some like that. I just feel its lucky it doesn’t have competition for those who don’t live for 25 mutations a week.
