When I first joined the forum, it offered me a chance to go through a tutorial. I was just creating an account, and didn’t expect to do anything much at the time. Now, I would like to actually go through the tutorial and earn the badge. I know it sounds silly, but it would be cool to do it. BUT! I cannot find how to revisit the tutorial. I deleted all my New World cookies in the browser, and that didn’t work. I guess I could delete my account and recreate, but that seems harsh. How do I complete the tutorial, and earn the badge?
I would like to know this myself. There is a “Basic” tutorial and an “Advanced” tutorial that both give badges. I was never even offered to do either tutorial when creating my account. I think this may be because I use the Microsoft Flight Simulator forums and they use the exact same forum set-up that uses the same web software. They may share cookies. I don’t know for sure though, just speculating.
Go to your private messages (you do this by clicking on your profile picture and then clicking on the envelope icon) and click on the message from a discobot. After that you have to read its message and bookmark this message (as the bot said you will get a gift if you do this). If you did that it will activate the new user tutorial. After you complete it you will get the badge and instructions on how to do the advanced user tutorial. I hope this helped! and you understand everything what I said ;PP
