So I have had many… many higher level players want to duel me. a lower level player.
this just seems… wrong.
Not only does it enforce a player to have to see a duel invitation upon their screen it also invokes a certain amount of pressure. To refute a duel would be cowardice, but to know you would lose is wise. For trolls, it doesn’t matter they just want to duel to make you look bad.
Why not have it so player can only initiate a duel to someone of equal level or higher. Not lower.
“Pressure” really? Anyway you can go into settings and toggle duels off, that way they can’t even request a duel. Also, try ignoring people if they are harassing you, if they are breaking rules report them.
Its good to know you can turn the dueling off. Although it does not fix the dilemma. If I want to duel only those of my same level it just seems counter productive to have to go into the menu every time I want to start duelling someone. This is non-flow design. Eliminating the choice for higher level players to challenge lower level players removes the troll mentality altogether for that type of trolling. It promotes fair play without the hassle of switching a menu option on and off constantly, if you decide to change your mind later.
p.s. - and no “pressure” is not the main topic of this suggestion as certain amounts of it is inevitable no matter what choice you are given. But it differs per person. So yes, really.
