Dungeon orbs can be wasted in a variety of ways such as server instability / disconnections, and players griefing/trolling to sabotage a run.
Instead of an item to access the dungeon, change the system by making the Orbs a type of key to unlock the special treasure from a dungeon.
- All dungeon mobs, including bosses, drop “regular” treasure according to their type as if they were an overland encounter; so it would be no better than doing an elite zone over and over if players try to farm the dungeon
- If the run is successful (every boss killed), everyone in the party gets a dungeon loot box for that dungeon. This box contains the special loot from every boss, all bundled into one box.
-This can stack and weighs nothing so you can keep it until you open it.
-If the party was undersized, everyone can get more boxes. E.g., If the dungeon is rated for 5-man but your party size never exceeded 3, then everyone can get an additional 2 boxes. - To open the box you go through whatever you normally do to get an Orb to access the dungeon.
- Since dungeons are rated for groups, each Orb should have multiple uses. This encourages players to do multiple runs, thus helping people get more runs done.
