Change Fundemental of Geardrops in dungouns in next expansion?

Hi there,
So far i am realy enjoing the game having over 350h in it but like for many during the later hours i found quite some fundemental problems in the game and i am wondering how they could be fixed and i would like the opinion of the forum people on it.

So first problem i see GEARDROPS:
1.) There are way to many gear drops in dungouns and they also dont feel rewarding at ALL. The upgrade from 550 to 600 feels like non existent.
2.) The Gear drops in elite areas are mostly way easier to get then their crafted counterparts. I can see that there is a SMALL chance that after lvl 200 you can create something of value. But unlike games like albion or maybe even BDO the life skills in this game feel shallow and useless.

Now my suggestion:
I know that what is done cant be undone so i suggest that in a maybe planned future expansion with new areas and new gear cap you could possible fix this by:

  • removing loot for gear from new enemies: (lv70-100) maybe ?
  • only dropping crafting materials for crafters. ( so the pve lers can sell them on the market making elite farms usefull and profitable)
  • increase professions max lvl to maybe 400 with exponential increase making it impossibel for EVERYONE to be an alrounder.
  • Add an new area where gear can be lost when dying (either pvp or pve) (i know this could upset many people but that would help less saturate the market)
  • Add more “Outposts” like towns that can be held by guilds so more guilds can engage pvp against other guilds (just cool thing) also inlcuding guild halls in this outposts that can be bought for coin.

I might have forgotten somethjng that makes this changes not favorable if so please tell me so i can impove this post and then maybe catch the attention of the devs for it :slight_smile:

yes.

  • Raise level cap
  • equipment with gear scores for the new highest range can not be looted
  • raise max crafting levels
  • add crafting recipes for the new highest gear score range
  • all equipment in the new highest gear score range has a degenerating maximum durability that destroys it eventually after enough use.
  • chest and NPCs corresponding to the new highest range drop crafting materials for the new highest range of craftable equipment

I’ll go as far as to say this is the only way to save the game’s crafting and end game loops

That could be also used for less saturating the market. I honestly dont mind how just that gear has to be destroyed somehow. The only other option would be to make it like WOW and keep releasing new expansions to artificialy keep the market allive ^^
