Can you change factions if your company owns a city? Let’s say 90% of our map is one color and we want to swap to help balance out the server but own a city, can we swap, or do we need to drop the city before we swap?
I believe if you are actively in a company you aren’t allowed to switch factions, so no, I don’t believe this would be possible.
I thought I ran into this problem when I last played about 1 year ago now. I just couldn’t remember what we did to swap factions to try and bring some balance to it all.
I’m fairly sure you’d have to drop the city before switching, or if you keep one person in the OG faction and then you push and declare on it again, you could keep it.
Just a general reminder, there’s a 60 day cooldown for faction switches.
Yea I remember the 60-day CD and come to think about it I think we left 1 person’s alt account in the company, and we all swapped factions in the past.
