Yes, it’s a potent weapon against glass cannons…and they were due for one to arrive on the scene that didn’t require the glass cannon to be in the middle of the death ball.
It’s an assassin weapon that plays like it was specifically made to counter those builds (spec’d to do that) in PvP.
To be fair, claw shot itself does very little damage I just use it to proc an empower. Totally agree about glass cannons needing a counter though. The amount of salt that people get in game and on here for using the BB really speaks to the hubris of a lot of the more kiting-inclined players.
2-3 shots depending on whether they have full resil yes, fyi they CAN get 2-shotted if they have trash gear so you can’t really say it’s not possible. And in OPR there is always that one player that has either no resil or is just wearing some random gear he bought from TP
From the clip alone Azoth shrapnel blast has dealt 5,998 damage and an additional 2,136 6-pellet headshot. That’s about 8k HP down in 2 hits with a 600GS blunderbuss (without diamond bonuses being active due to my hp not being full) And the weapon not even using “elemental gems” yet
I would advise you to look into putting stats on INT as well because BB is a split-damage weapon
If you’re assuming you should deal “that much” damage with just 300 strength you’ve very little experience when it comes to split-damage weapons. Just as how a 300 dex no int musket would probably deal 1k per shot white hits lol
Is nullifying infinite flint ammo really that big of a deal? Seems like a vestigial gameplay mechanic.
Lol youre splitting damage between ranged weapon and ammo type anyway, except you dont get stats and is just a % modifier.
The two separate slots on SnS doesn’t seem to be hindering it at all. Although can somebody confirm if stats are split? They seemed pretty consistent with other one handed weapons
The stats are split between the sword and shield yeah. They also recently fixed it so that the attributes of the shield are applied when you have your other weapon out.
You already get base damage (you know that 1.0 damage) for free on an infinite basis. If you want the bonus (you know the 1.2 bonus damage) you need to craft it or buy it.
Notice that special 1.0? It is not 0.x. This means base damage. Anything above 1 is bonus. No this shouldn’t be free.
