It is what it is… :slight_smile:

TL internal testing is starting today :slight_smile: (AGS employees are allowed to play), but its going to be around 6-9 months before we will see a release in the west.
Similar or longer timeframe for Quinfall and Pax Dei… probably longer.

PS: I rly like NW, I think it has/had the potential to be one of the top MMORPGs by all means of meaasure… however atm to me it feels like a house that is missing a slice of it (like you can take slices out of an Architectural prototypes), and they have no intention of ever adding that slice to the game to make it a complete MMORPG.

We Give AGS a lot of crap for the way Character Agency is…

But I also think its important to aknowledge when they do things better so I wanted to point out the new Hood [that you get from Twitch] that actually looks much better then the previous “trash-bag” ones xD

Its not perfect or anything :slight_smile:

But i feel like its an improvement :slight_smile: and that should be appreciated.

Edit: Changed the image so it has the same outfit easier to tell the difference.

…they look almost identical. Different color and old style does not go all the way to the shoulders. Yes, outstanding…

It’s little things that make all the difference, between one of them looking like a trash bag on ur head and the other one looking like a hood.

Just a different style is all. One is tucked inside the tunik, the other is tied to the outside. Nothing changed really.

As you pointed out, it’s a small difference… but its the difference between me considering one of them a piece of trash and the other one a potential piece of fashoin.

Also its a volumetric difference of about 35% in the model size :slight_smile:

And in my opinion thats all the game needs… everywhere, different body types, different animations… they dont need to be majorly different, just enough to make a difference.

NW Devs are indeed doing better lately with their skins… i still think things would look 100 times better with different body types.

Credit where it’s due. That’s not a bad skin. Not the greatest, but miles ahead of some of their previous work.

Also, agree better character models would make a significant improvement.

Don’t worry there is 0% chance that NW will have anything that will turn anyone on…
You wouldn’t even be able to turn on a Amish man.

There is and will always be 0 sex appeal in NW, so ur safe :stuck_out_tongue:

What most people are asking for is skin/costumes/outfit that fit the user.

Another Community QnA release, and another passed opportunity to at least admit that they are aware that NW has the WORSE character creator of any MMORPG.
