It’s little things that make all the difference, between one of them looking like a trash bag on ur head and the other one looking like a hood.
Just a different style is all. One is tucked inside the tunik, the other is tied to the outside. Nothing changed really.
As you pointed out, it’s a small difference… but its the difference between me considering one of them a piece of trash and the other one a potential piece of fashoin.
Also its a volumetric difference of about 35% in the model size 
And in my opinion thats all the game needs… everywhere, different body types, different animations… they dont need to be majorly different, just enough to make a difference.

NW Devs are indeed doing better lately with their skins… i still think things would look 100 times better with different body types.

Credit where it’s due. That’s not a bad skin. Not the greatest, but miles ahead of some of their previous work.
Also, agree better character models would make a significant improvement.

Don’t worry there is 0% chance that NW will have anything that will turn anyone on…
You wouldn’t even be able to turn on a Amish man.
There is and will always be 0 sex appeal in NW, so ur safe 
What most people are asking for is skin/costumes/outfit that fit the user.
Will never happen im actually surprised they allow you to take off the armor and show two piece undies and not have this underneath;

Thanks for that just copy pasted the question from last QnA…
But I’m faily confident they are aware of it, and just chosing to ignore it.
Another Community QnA release, and another passed opportunity to at least admit that they are aware that NW has the WORSE character creator of any MMORPG.

The New Skins are pretty PoG.
They are nothign special, no effects or anything like that, but even so I feel like each release of new skins is getting better and better

So, I buy New World. First thing I do is name and create my character. Done.
Unfortunately there is no way of knowing exactly how your character is going to look until you get out there and start playing.
I see so many great character designs I wish I get design ideas from.
It’s not like character customization/naming code is not already there.

Would be nice, there is no preview in the character creator, there is no “albun” function to share and get designs from others… nothing like that.
We don’t even have the posibility to customize our characters once they have been created and as you say, the code is already there… all they would have to do is implement a NPC (or token in cash shop) that opens the character creator for existing characters… who knows maybe one day they will realise how important this is for MMORPGs, luckily for us all other MMORPG developers are well aware of this and we will never again have this problem in any other MMORPG.
