Are we possibly getting some kind of further character progression in near future than just gear system? At current state, character progression ends after reaching level 60 in the game, which makes killing enemies kind of meaningless. Especially at lower level zones, there are not a single reason why player would want to kill enemies, you will only “possibly” get outdated lower level loot or very tiny amount of Xp to your weapon, considering it’s not leveled to max yet.
Alongside with further character progression there should be enemy level scaling, which would make lower level zones and enemies worth of returning to.
Many of the great and beautiful places of this game are not worth to return to after passing the recommended zone level. Maybe only for crafting or farming purposes, but other than that, no.
