This is so messed up. You have to be actively ignoring this issue at this point in hopes of it going away, there is no other believable reason for this level of incompetency.
ive never heard of anything like this in my time playing different mmo type games. i had played the game since launch. through all the bugs and dupes and exploits. this character has well over 2000 hours on it. max in all professions/trophies etc (except music). kind of sad really that they could lose this character and make it unplayable for this amount of time and not even let me know what is going on. i feel like the community who plays the game is trying much harder to help me out than the company…so thank you for that @newworld community.
@Helianthus You seem to be like one of the few CS reps that actually do their job and care. Could you please look into this issue and why these two other CS agents are willfully ignoring this extremely concerning issue.

so after getting any response on this thread for a while i reached out to online support via chat again…spend time playing this game at your own risk i guess…lol
Kind of insane how long its taking AGS or anyone to give a proper response as to how a character with thousands of hours just * poofs * out of existence and the only “Boh” they could find is one on a completely different region that’s not even max level who probably quit the first couple of weeks of the game anyways. Do we need thousands of people to be affected by this issue before proper actions are taken to solve them? There is plenty of proof of Boh’s character existing and taking part in multiple wars and other content. Bugs where characters get deleted and their existence wiped is a huge issue and should be a priority to solve before it happens to hundreds of people if not thousands next time a merge happens.
If you character is deleted accidentally or otherwise, there are ways of getting it back.

This has been going on for far too long. Have war vods playing with Boh and AGS can’t even fix something so easy.
I’ve been merged over 6 times and to think this could have happened to any of us and the response would be cold and slow.
Just restore his character already.
Imagine your 2k hour NW character gets deleted during a PLANNED server merge
One would think a character disappearing from the game post-merge (with 2000+hrs of playtime, mind you) would be a high-priority ticket. Where’s the transparency here? At the VERY least you should be giving the man a daily update regarding the effort being put towards recovering his character. Apologies and generic responses are worthless and unacceptable at this point, it’s been two weeks. Our community is small enough as it is and we are losing players daily, but of all things, we should not be losing players to a post-merge shadow-realm.
