Character overweight, can't trade, use the market, or move & been this way since the patch last week
Yeah based on the wording on the 2nd sentence from the main site, I got it was “and” level 10, not or. I missed that when I read it back then.
First part really made it sound like “or” level 10 though.
And can’t get anything close enough to Windsward to get xp from it due to where I am located in town, just nothing near that side of town really
I can think of nothing else except wait for support to investigate and/or help through tickets, maybe you will get someone that can help if you keep trying, or give up the items as a loss to resume play where you have the opportunity to earn their value back in time which you can’t do while stuck and may miss out on more than the value of those items by not playing where you could be. Neither are a great solution, but it sounds like that is what it’s down to.

Not sure support will help, they said only the developers can and told me to post here.
Maybe, on the exp idea, find the closest mob, kite it to figure out it’s leash spot, then have someone lure it there, tank it, and another group member (ranged) shoot it while being close to you as possible.
Sort of leapfrog the exp to you that way? LAST Idea I have. Good luck.

Suffering from the same issue, transferred heavy af, had my gf create a new character on the new server since she couldn’t transfer again, just to learn I couldn’t trade it back.
Why allow trading in first place if you can’t trade back? It all could be avoided by just not allowing any kind of trade for level 1-10.
Pathetic design, and the support is a completely joke.

Still no help on with this issue. Support keeps telling me to post here and they can’t do anything because it will have to be a developer. But no one here ever answers…
lol, thanks for moving my post @Standor but this isn’t a bug… It is how AGS designed the game and are now just ignoring it instead of trying to provide any support to people with characters stuck like this yall are just ignoring them.
why dont you throw anything of lower value like the orichalcum ore etc and let it despawn? and maybe then you can throw some more stuff down so you can get to a leathering station craft some course leather and get to lvl 10? minimal loss if you have more stuff with low value like ori ore
Why do I have to delete my own stuff to fix an issue AGS caused with less than a 24 hour warning to the player base?
All they would have to do is move my character, in the town he is currently in, to near the stream in Windsward. But they can’t even do that.
cause its an oddly specific request and its something that at the end of the day was a mistake you did by taking 10k loot on a second char. there is a reason towns have limited storage, so that it makes you have to use your resources and keep check at what you are stacking. also how could anyone ever trade you 10k weight stuff they’d have to have them somewhere. did he tp from town to town and and come back to your place to give you his stuff or what? And if i remember correctly the game doesnt even let you get that overweight. And as for what i said i see you have like 9 k coins and a ton of resources if you do what i said you at worst lose 1-2 k coins worth of stuff and in return you have inflated a different server with resources from an other server which on its own shouldnt really be allowed.

This support gotta be a joke, finally got a feedback via email and is what the clown send me:
I’ve explained with details that the character is stuck, cannot send itens via trade because it is at level 8, cannot level up because is can’t move due overweight, cannot toss highly value itens on the floor to move because there is a weight limit on the ground loot. Character is literally stuck 4ever.
All because Amazon allow you to receive itens via trade even thought under level 10, but won’t allow the same character that received the itens to trade it back. Funny thing is there is no warning or anything about the level limitation. Why allow to receive itens but not trade? Just don’t allow any trade at all and problem solved.
Now there are a lot of people with stuck characters, many just give up and delete the character. But why would anyone delete over 40k gold?
Best part is we are with our characters in a limbo and the cherry on top is having a support that can’t read… “Trade with someone else” what a retard.
AGS and their support is a joke at this point. They don’t care. Hell they just copyright striked a player for them trying to show them how a bug worked in a YouTube video.
