Character placed into the wrong server

Loaded up the game on launch, selected Yama as the server (in AP Southeast). Played for a while until my friends got through the queue. When they joined they couldn’t see me so I logged out. My character is now linked to Eridu and not the Yama server which I chose. Apparently happened to a fair few people.
Additionally in game, the game menu doesn’t show the server world it just stats “world” with no descriptors.
Keen to see if characters can be ported over to the server that was actually chosen when joining.

That provides us with no solution - i also spent 6 hours on apparently the wrong server after selecting Utopia. It does not fix itself i am stuck on this Agartha bs

Hi Muzz, and thanks for chiming in. This also happened to me today, after nearly a 5 hour queue on Dominora to play with my company mates there, it rudely dropped me into a completely different server with a name that I can’t even pronounce (Caer something). Trying to explain what happened to my friends was frustrating, and made me just log off after over 5 hours because I didn’t want to go through that again tonight.

We’ve seen the posts regarding the transfers, the problem is that the communication with us is lacking. When exactly will these free transfers be available? Also, will you allow transfers to higher populated servers like Dominora so we can play with our company, or will they all have to leave Dominora and go elsewhere? Finally, will all in-game possessions and progress follow us when transferring to a new server?

If these questions were answered, you might get a lot of us to play on lower pop servers for the time being until the problems are resolved. But not knowing the answers just leaves us in limbo.
