Charge rubberband issue

Clip 1: Stuttering after ability ends.

Clip 2:Flying over something but getting caught on it. (Happens a lot)


This has been in the game since launch with charge. The stutter is caused because I am assuming you have over 250 STR correct? That was a new bug that came with 1.0.5. If you want to get rid of the stutter you can’t go over 249 STR. It will still happen when you are hit with certain CC abilities such as Hammer CC or Ice Gauntlet CC. You will also notice your stamina bar flickering when it happens.

I reported the issue twice to support with video proof and they said that it is an emerging issue and they are already working on a fix, hopefully soon. The most you can do is just deal with it or run 249 STR.

The lag increase from 1.0.5 just makes the charge bug worse in certain settings like in Outpost Rush. There’s nothing you can really do about that.

two of the stutter examples. At other times you will sometimes be dragged back to where you started the charge or receive damage that was placed where your charge started but you receive it at the end of the charge when you wernt there

Yea, the delay I could deal with, the stutter is game breaking.

This doesn’t just happen on these videos specifically, it happens on most if not all weapons. On my rapier for example, riposte would often recast two times 50% of the time on some occasions after 1.0.5 riposte would trigger around 10 times and you’re just stuck there during the animation while still getting hit. Evade would just pull me back where I evaded away from, although rare but when it happens it can be very frustrating. Shooting projectiles/basic attacks with any magical weapons while moving/strafing would almost always stutter me back a millisecond after I pressed a button.

Should we post video samples/proofs of these in this thread? I could probably try to compile the one’s I was talking about in a video.
