What server/world did you experience your issue on:

EU central - Bifrost

Describe the issue you are experiencing:

Only half of the messages types into chat are coming through at the moment. I noticed this as first when I saw answers in help chat without there being a question asked. Later we also discovered the full extent of it in our company chat. We had to start using codewords to confirm to each other wich messages came through.

Is this a bug or an exploit:

(if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay:

We dont know what message come through and can’t communicate in any chat efficiently without missing pieces of the conversation.

(if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue:

No, there is no way to make sure your message comes through, even tagging seems to not resolves this. Relogging did nothing to the situation, it seems chat/server related.

What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced:

We confirmed the situation ourselves by letting one person sent 6 messages all starting with test and a number from 1-6, To see what came trough. And that showed that only half of them came through (don’t have a screenshot from that anymore). But I don’t know if its temporary or a persistent bug and if it’s only our server or not.

The problem seems to have resolved themselves on our server in the morning. Ill keep this post updated if it return in primetime.

I just found out, the german word “wenn” never works, but “vvenn” wrote like this, does

edit: we is filtered, just type vve instead, every other w word works

this issue kills all fun for me. chat is broken.

It has not happened again on our server, so it seems to happen in episodes on different servers.

i get the error sometimes where my own chat in global is not working or showing up…i then have to restart for global chat with my replies to show up as well

Yup, can’t type in global after being online for sometime…

So this bug happened again last night 21th of december around 11 pm CET on the bifrost server. Some message did not come trough which led again to not being able to communicate.

It’s still going, I dont get why not more people notice it.

hello, this happened to me as well in Company chat and in DMs, on Difu server.

yeah this is rough…alt+f4 to fix takes a ton of time to fix it

This is definitely strange especially since it seems to not have been fixed, I’ve reported this to the developers for you guys!

This is still a major issue. We have major chat inconsistency as tested by over 12 of us.

Chat has been super bugged for a while now. Going in and out of dungeons trips it all the time also portals. Either it has a huge delay from what’s entered to when you actually see it or it bugs out and you can’t chat in one or more of the topic feeds.

For me I get the delay all the time and have to unmute channels and re-mute to reset it. Same when I go in and out of dungeons or do portals. Then if I can’t enter anything in chat I have to log out and log back in to fix it.
