Very good sum up of the possible ways to balance the musket. I would be very surprised if all of them are implemented. Tho good the nerf will make it very likely for no players to play the musket unless they are very good at it.
The best suggestion is the charging before each shot.
The devs said they will be implementing something similar to a (re)charge before each shot, saying players will need to spend some time for an accurate aim before each shot.
I think that’s a better solution than to slow down movement or increase the reload time which would be a step backwards.
@Developer Please don’t nerf mobility, anything but mobility is OK.
I feel like a charged shot (the shot gets stronger the longer you zoom in) would be better instead of some RNG bloom, if they absolutely insisted.
I think they will add spread to the accuracy while not standing completely still.
The accuracy perk (both musket passive and weapon perk) might be interesting now ![]()
