Do not do this, Easy Anti Cheat is not that stupid. It will just get you banned and your account is wasted. This entire “I dont care, I just will buy the game again if I get banned”-thing only works if Amazon allows it. Easy Anti Cheat reads out your hardware, they know it is the same PC that was banned before.

The entities running the bots likely have the overhead to lose accounts. Not justifying it, just putting it out there to encourage people being proactive in policing it; businesses don’t like to run at a loss for long and it is a business, regardless of it being illegitimate

This totaly proves that this is a bot and deserve insta ban right now ! No warning as well. Bots are breaking economie and server life time in a video game. This shouldn t be tolerated at all.

The pattern repeats itself perfectly and does make no sense. This is usually a sign of a short script which controls actions, also known as a macro. The idea behind it is to let it run for hours and then use the collected resources.
Could also be because of the bots on why massive amounts of players are also waiting to also join into the servers.
But Bots does need the banhammer, and right away.

Iirc, anything that automates gameplay is forbidden. I’ve seen people on that same subreddit asking around if they can run macros. I think the only game I’ve played that had allowed anything close to an completely automated macro was SWG for Doctor wound heals/buffs, Entertainer buffs, Ranger camps, Trader surveying/harvesting resources (which depleted and moved over time) and people parking themselves in a mob to target and cast, but those were with slash commands using the game’s integrated macro system and didn’t move.

Probably not a bot but simply someone running macro so they don’t get back to queue.
As long as there are insane queues people will try to stay logged on by any means.

Yes, I saw quite a lot of players running in one place in cliffs or so. I thought they disconnected or went for a tea or so. But apparently it is more intentional.
Your title is completely right. With the amount of computing power NW requires the electricity bill will be higher than whatever that bot brings in. Not worth it.
New World will soon have over a million players and certainly go for pay to win in the future. They all do eventually. I can see people paying real money for the perfect craft item and this will be undetectable by AGS.
I guess we will have to live with bots and ban waves forever. I just hope that actual players will not walk naively into this trap, hence the post.
