I would like to see more clothing cosmetic options. For example, it would be nice if I could change the skin of a piece of gear to any other piece that I have already worn. Guild Wars 2 does a good job at this and you can use transmutation charges to change the skin of a piece of gear.
Not all players would be interested in this but I am sure that I am not the only one that would like a bit more flexibility to be creative in how my character looks.
There are some really cool looking drops. I agree, I wish we could piece together our own look. The cosmetics are very nice in the shop, but I really would like to make my own look sometimes.

This has been mentioned before but sadly got closed after a while. I soooooooo would LOVE such a thing and i completely agree. I mean i would be just happy if they made a skin unlock token to put it into the market which we can use on the items we want the appearence of. Store styles are awfully bad compared to the ingame styles, and levelling gear have amazing styles that are being wasted. Even the simple starting gear styles are good looking in my opinion. I mean what if i dont want my spear to look “fancy” ?
YES! I play this game to spend time doing something with my husband and the cosmetic things are the cherry on top that makes it fun for me. I would like to add that if they made it possible to dye the items from the shop that would be amazing! Then seeing everyone wearing the latest item from the store would be a little less cringe a week later.
i like this idea. when you are a low lvl player, you can (almost) get any look you want because you can try out all the gear and see what it does and how it looks and there is no real punishment by doing so; but, by the time you get to lvl 60 and are searching out the top characteristics for a piece of armor or weapon, it typically ends up as a named piece, and thus, you really don’t end up with any customization options, other than dyes, for your looks. take the look or take the functionality, and at that level, functionality should win. but seriously, why not both?
Yes, I agree, I would like to see the ability to use any items I have collected to show up as a skin option, this is not all that hard…most other games manage just fine with more freedom for gear/ weapon skins and dying.
