Combat Balance Overall

Welcome to my Topic, I’m going to talk about some things with my bad english. I hope you will understand my English.

I define the current combat meta as a meta that does not require skill, and that anyone can throw a single shot at everyone if there are existing conditions.

I’ll talk about some necessary buffs and nerfs.

Rapier ;

  • Flourish & Finnish remove grit.

Hatched ;

  • remove lastest nerf of social distancing ; stagger will work only up to 10 meters.

Great Axe ;

  • decrease reap distance ; increase reap damage like %20 - %25.

War hammer ;

  • disable block shockwave.

Great Sword ;

  • reduce damage %25
  • increase survivability

Bow ;

  • Make it harder to aim.
  • remove stagger.

Musket ;

  • make it harder to aim + 125m is not enough make it wont usable at fort.

Blunderbuss ;

  • Standart attacks should do half fire & half thrust damage.
  • increase light attack damage %20

Fire Staff;

  • Disable maelstorm and other things to block fireball
  • damage reduction on flamethrower
  • increase damage pillar of fire

Life Staff ;

  • reduce healing %15 - %20
  • if your main weapon is life staff you cant use rapier or other weapons you can only use focus scaling weapons (void gauntlet)
  • increase lights embrace healing %5
  • add cast time to splash of light + increase splash of light healing %20
  • disable orb of protection fortify removing on oblivion

Void Gauntlet ;

  • increase healing from orb %5
  • tether buffs should stay when change weapon

STR ;

  • str should give no-dodge distance nerf (on 300 str) (when u take damage)

DEX ;

  • Damage reduction %25

INT ;

  • Damage reduction on half scale weapons (rapier , musket etc.) %10

FOCUS ;

NONE

CONSTITUTION ;

  • 50 const ; All health consumables %20 → %25
  • 100 const ; no change
  • 150 const ; remove %10 resilient
  • 200 const ; add resilient to here and %10 extra armor → %12

Ok with Distance nerf, but it is not the reap damage that should be increased, is the overall Critical damage that need to be increased.

I find it funny how a “Combat Balance Overall” proposal doesn’t even show suggestions related to heavy armor, shield or passives above 300 CON, which just goes to show how ignoreable tank builds are in this game. This is so true that it’s not even in players’ minds anymore when talking about pvp combat.

So AGS, we see an urgency here to focus efforts on heavy armor, shields and passives above 300 con.

Basically what I saw, are buffs for the medium armor GA/WH build.

Tank need to be stronger i accept that but at the moment our problem is ;

1,) low skill assassin players with playing with group (assassin = solo killer class , they shouldnt play with group )
2,) low skill healers complaining about s tier assassins and s tier healers leaving game because they dont have any come back / outplay chance after last patch maybe only chance agaisnt c-b tier assassins not for s tier assasins.
3,) low skill nova 2 (cs go) muskets satistifying their ego with changing war results.
4,) low skill bows doing stagger.

yes tank need to be good but our major problems is that.

im healer btw thats not about melee buff ;

nerf assas / healer
nerf ranged
buff tank / medium armor (include mage)
buff fire staff (only for skilled players not flamethrower)

  • reduce healing %15 - %20

Lowest TTK the game has ever had, better nerf healing. Random numbers thrown out based on feeling and not fact.

You just said nerf all healing by 20% and you’re here advocating for 5% on this? lol, what are you even trying to achieve here if it’s still a worse spell that’s already been nerfed into oblivion twice.

Spell already has a cast time. And it feels terrible to use because it’s the only remaining spell that has no fluid movement on life staff and you believe it needs to take even longer? Nah.

  • disable orb of protection fortify removing on oblivion

The ability is so spammable, you cannot tell me you don’t have it up every few seconds. lol
