Combat Issue: Block action stops working with shield

• What is your character name in New World: GoodMoodDude
• What server/world did you experience your issue on: Server Tritonis, Game Menu says Elphame is the world
• Describe the issue you are experiencing: When using the sword and shield and performing an ability or dodge the game appears to stop recognizing the right mouse block button and drops the shield. Clicking the right button, even spamming it, will not raise the shield to block until another action is performed like a light attack and then the block mechanic seems to work again. Feels like a similar mechanics issue from alpha when fishing and the window to set the hook would not recognize the left click regardless of the number of times clicked. It like the game stops recognizing the key functions until another action is performed.
• Is this a bug or an exploit: Bug
• (if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: Significantly impacts the ability to tank and maintain agro as well as reliably block and dodge in PvP.
• (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: Yes but at later level and in the arenas and wars this is going to be a major issue. Restarting the client had no effect as the problem was experienced yesterday and today.
• What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: Use the sword and shield, be blocking/tanking, perform a dodge function, ability, or have a stamina drain animation and the block function is essentially disabled until you perform a light attack and then you can block again.
