While all of the quality of life updates were very welcome, combat is much worse than before. Desync still prevalent. Weapon swap now wastes abilities at random into thin air. Getting stuck in a grav well can prevent you from using any abilities. Certain weapons are just flat unplayable like void gauntlet with blade glitching nonstop. Here’s a compilation of videos i’ve found discussing the topic and why it’s so bad now. Please AGS this should be top priority. Having combat fundamentally broken and unplayable after your major bug fix patch is a very bad look.

Well clearly 1 month wasn’t enough time to get it right. They literally waited till the last day of the month to release and it ended up in combat being unplayable for many. Maybe don’t rush it and make things worse in a different way but focus on fixing it with a weekly update. If combat does not work everyone is affected.
When the combat of the game is entirely broken the entire team needs to hotfix it before they hemorrhage more players. This is urgent yet it’s treated as “oh it might be on the list of things for later”
Thar void blade glitch happened to me alot when I player as intelligence tank…I did post a picture of it and linked it for a GM and he send it to the devs…he said and on patch note nothing about any fix on it and it still glitching.
So I change to strength now, tank with hatchet or war hammer.
Honestly, if the forums were not filled with “where da Feb patch?” threads starting the second week in February, they probably wouldn’t have felt such pressure to rush things.
who is going to manage all of the new bugs that come with the new content? the people with 4+ pages of known bugs, some of which have been in the game since before release.
One of those videos are mine, and it’s very frustrating, but I’m still holding out hope on what this game could be. It has so much potential and I’d love to see it reach that potential.
Fix animation dodges pls, u lie to all of us. Thats a sneaky try hard fix to destroy medium armor (now feels clunky rought, pauses in every dodge + the bug when u swap weapon at same time u dodge that make you stucked 0.5 seconds) heavy armor also get paused (not same rate as medium but also feels clunky) why u do this? it destroys combat experience . If u want ways to improve armor balance there are so many ways instead of destroy the dodge animation . People want to be fluid is the only thing that game have “the combat” and now u ruin it with that clunkynes and that queue on weapon swaping buged as hell. I prefer combat 1000 times before the patch
