I was thinking that it would be cool to add a forum for players to posts ads or excepts of their Companies in game including the focus of said Company and whatever details they may feel necessary to have and have a reasonably static method of getting their Company noticed by other players. I have seen a few Company related topics but not soon after they were pushed down by other topics in the discussion forum. Making a Company ads sub-forum would be quite useful with a bump of maybe every 30min to an hour to give others a chance to post and be seen.
Just an idea…and since this didn’t feel Game specific but for the forums, I put it here.
Of course that was already created prior to release. Considering there isn’t an original idea that exists in New World, we should expect the least in these regards.
I’ll check into it at some point in regards to the server. I honestly think the community might appreciate having a forum dedicated to Company related things as well as other things I may address in another topic but for now…I do like making informational posts about stuff like this and others might have fun with it as well to flesh out the details of their Companies to fellow players such things may include:
Times and dates of when said Company does wars or invasions
Have a static place for Company Governers to post upcoming events planned events, Invasions, etc as well as communicate with others.
Flesh out the purpose or cause of said company such as backstory or political views for those who like PVP or roleplay, stuff like that.
Such topics would also be places for new members to view aside from the in-game listings. And the biggest things would be that people wouldn’t have to worry about missing info when they log in or out of the forums as opposed to the fading of chats or inability to read chat history in-game.
