Company Bases: game Idea

A cool idea to add a better feel to companies and company management and engagement

Give companies a ‘Company HQ/ base/ castle’ etc. Have an area of the map that your company can own that’s instanced. If your company holds the town, your company HQ is displayed to anyone in that town (within the ‘base area’) Over time this could grow and change, and there could be different reasons to aspire to own different towns ‘e.g., we really want the bioluminescent forest cave, lets try and own Brightwood!’ .

You would Level up the company HQ using a similar mechanic to levelling up towns, with perks available for different levels of HQ. Ideas for perks could be, increased company size limit, more control over ranks (e.g 5 ranks between settler and consul), company chest where people can deposit shared items or resources for company members. Company only resource nodes around the HQ. Company notice board, company tropey cabinet.
Allow members to use their furniture from houses and place it to decorate the HQ. Give us the option to add in notice boards, calendars, and a war strategy table, so we can actually meet in a war room around a table and talk about strategy.
Have company trophies that are earned through the achievements of the company, some could be lost, and some could be time sensitive, e.g. company with the most distance run in January, most chests opened, most PvP kills, most wars won etc etc
Let us visit other company HQ and see their trophies and decorations. Let this be a way to show off your achievements that you work towards collectively, whilst providing a space for pve orientated players to exist in pve spaces to maintain these areas (possible upkeep quests/creative design ideas?)

In addition to this, you could let companies have a ‘tier’ so when you make a company, you start out at tier one, you cant make a company base, you cant own a town, etc. But after you have reached a certain numbers of members, or time active, you could rank up through various criteria.

  • Tier one would be really basic 5 person friendship group
  • Tier two would be, enough members for a war, but never held a town or won a war etc
  • so on, so on.
  • Tier 5 is a top level company for PvE and/OR PvP, running mutators, winning wars, engaging with most content at a top level.

Each tier could come with unlocks for company management, bases, company size etc including banking systems to give money from the treasury to players, and keep track of all money in and out of the company (this is actually really needed for big companies, so people don’t get accused of stealing and there are more controls on where money goes). These could be accessible from the town hall for all company members.

Just an idea I’ve had, it would be great to have some people build on it

Thank you for the feedback @TitchyBee

iv held several towns but don’t feel this would be fair to those who have lost but tried over and over.
Tier one is good, there should be a pure pve tier in middle, then war tier guild. Would give category for each kind of guild then.

Also would make easier to design the Company huts then for ags. If one was built on small guild type, next the pve guild type, and other on war type. Would make pretty easy for them to pre set up each for sale.

I would gladly pay real money to have a guild house, that i could store things in and make so i could help my guild members easier. Guild bank is soooooo needed!

That’s a great idea, and if the guild could farm up and build up structures, statues, whatever to give guild member passive buffs, being in a guild would have a purpose for pve players LOL

Yes, I think there would be a good middle ground for all companies to be able to progress in structured way for PvE and PvP. This was only a rough outline, tier two might be more of a later tier in hindsight.

@TitchyBee this is all they care to say. since they do not give a crap about the game. your ideas sound amazing. but these devs dont care enough about the game. hence why they refuse to nerf certain weapons, and make light armor wearers pop like a tooth paste bottle. they simply do not play their own game. therefore they do not know what the game actually needs
