My Company “BTU” has disappeared along with 200k worth of funds. I was the Governor My In game name is Sinijn over on the Castle Of Steel servers. The guild has been active since launch day, moved through several server mergers and now… sadly, has vanished into the fog.
I did not receive a notification, there are no additional funds on my character sheet, non of the other members received notifications either. There was one consul who was on the day before and then… *POOF no more “BTU” company. I had not been on in a while due to personal issues over 30 days for certain.
I can reform the company but I’d really like all that cash returned, that was like 18 clam bakes and a bottle drive’s worth.
I believe there’s a window of 15 days inactive before a consul can take over a company from an inactive governor unless it’s been changed (happy to be corrected here).
Not to point fingers but it sounds like you may have been booted from your company. Not sure there’s much that can be done unless you can salvage it from the other player. Hopefully I’m wrong!
Consuls are all members of a larger guild that plays multiple other games. I suppose its a possibility, but unlikely considering the situation. Also the Name is available to be used still

That’s a good sign it’s available. Support has restored items in the past but I don’t recall/am not sure if that extends to gold in companies, @JakeL you have any thoughts?

I’ll let this sit here a few days though see what happens since I put it up. I’m not sure what I saw when I logged back in… wasn’t paying to much attention. Likely same as always I would have noticed something odd.
Just need the funds back I hope, most members are in the discord, I think we made a temp company… or they were discussing it anyway something about not being able to swap much anymore, I’m not sure what they are doing. I’m still unable to really play with Life stuff (mom Sick, Nursing home stuff) but I have to be the one to put in for help cause i was the governor

Go to Windows Start search bar and type dxdiag.
Click on dxdiag.exe.
When green progress bar goes away, select Save All Information and save the file to their desktop.
