Company HeadQuarters

Im not sure if this has been brought up offically or not. but i think what would be so cool is to have some sort of area for people in a compamy. (like a headquarters) not sure how everyone else feels about this but i just think it would be so cool to be able to upgrade and expand a company base with my other members. being able to share trophies and having a shared company storage that might have like 2x the capacity that can always be upgraded. all of this can be done through the furnishing skill. maybe even add a new builders skill idk. being able to design a base and storage areas and trophy room. kinda like the skyrim dlc. just my opinion. you could do alot with giving companies their own little area. maybe even with a max building and furnishing you could build a mine. depending on the level of course. in the mine could have 3 or 4 nodes of the ore your level can handle. but to avoid problems with abusing that and crashing just increase the respawn rate idk. just thoughts and ideas here

Thank you if you took the time to read my idea <3

I know we would be happy with company storage in itself.

right. they could make alot of people happy. and i speak for myself when i say this of course but my company doesnt care about waging war or gaining territory for money. but what would give us alot more to do instead of just grinding gearscore would be to go back to leveling and building a base.

I think it’d have to be instanced but yeah like a company fort or something where you can go to access stuff would be cool. Maybe have it incorporate crafting tables somehow, let members contribute to it.

I would prefer this to the ‘companies determine towns’ and would rather towns be more communal efforts and PVE-focused.

Put the PVP focus on the forts as should be, make their bonuses pretty stanky good, and then have PVP rewards include upgrades to the company headquarters. I think that would be a fun way for companies to have their own sense of progress too, and it wouldn’t be like a huge broken thing, just the company members being able to store, use trophies, and crafting tables on the backs of their own efforts and resources as opposed to current territories where there’re many more variables.

lol this is a bit like what I said a few months ago on reddit.
It would be awesome to have rooms inside the castle and that a company can buy the property and then rent out the rooms to their members and also customize its looks. Only members of that company see how it looks on the outside( so it’s different to what ever company bought it and they can make it look different inside but non members see the standard stuff).

Then add company Trophy s and fast travel and everyone who rents a room in their castle gets the company’s bonuses this way people will interact more and get more from their comps and they feel like every comp is different as the bonuses are different.

Make a company have their own banner and colors so you can buy those gear items instead of faction items, this so it’s even more of a group feel.

Let every region have 1 castle but who ever controls the region gets more bonuses (like now) but to defend the castle you need at least 2 company’s from the same faction to defend it during attacks. This makes it so that those who make the regional bonuses come and go be punished by the people of they screw up as they will lose control if no one supports them during a attack.
or this >>>

  • Make the company that takes over a region solely responsible for the portals.
  • Make portals not earn coin or stuff for that company except if they keep the region safe for a month(everyone of that company get gear that is bound to player and some upgrade materials).
  • Make it so that portals can take over a region what can only be taken back by that company that owns the region (they do have their XP bonuses and houses bonuses but they reduce if portals take over).

If they lose the fights at the end of the month they get punished (people cannot leave comps during regional possession) their houses will be lost all trophy’s get scrapped to bare bone materials.

After winning or losing a region all people in that comp are not able to join new comps for the next month.

  • The region will be up for graps to any comp except those who just lost or won it’s last fight.
  • Big boss fight at the last day of the month that needs at least 65% of its members to fight.
  • Bosses spawn randomly in that region on a set hour and it’s stats and strengths are also random.
  • Regional bonuses depend on comp not faction. - Faction bonuses are just for boss fights at borders where they guard gates (with loot behind it).

Thats actually a really good idea! take away the town idea and make it to where compaines controlled their own forts! and fought over the castles. the problem is that a company that controlls an area that makes 2m a week can then buy whatever they choose. keep it to where companies with higher tier forts that contribute to a towns board gain resources to then upgrade and fund their fort costs. using material from the world and material only gained from doing town quests

i do very much like the bonuses. it takes more than one company to control it and while you have upkeep. lets say compaines in the same faction have to pay a very small “protection” fee just as in medieval times. maybe its only 100g from every company. not every player just the company. but when ever the controlling compaines of the castle or fort do anything like destroy portals and wage war and what not. rewarding efforts and buffs get shared to all compaines. thus eliminating 1 singular controlling company making millions. everyone gets something.

I don’t think anyone can stop a company with 2M from doing what they want at this point and I don’t really want to aim at doing so, because they’re going to do what they want regardless. It would be really cool to take away the effect PVP has on what PVE players have available (IE crafting tables mostly), but to give them a reward that feels more ‘exclusive’ to their efforts-- so if a town slides back because people aren’t contributing, a company’s HQ still has their back and as long as they put in their dues there they’ll always have the tools they want at hand.

It wouldn’t really require that companies do anything but participate in some kind of PVP too, so it wouldn’t mandate participation in wars-- it could easily just be flagging up and hunting down some opposite factions.

Hopefully, this accomplishes both giving PVP players more of a distinct reward for their efforts, and one that feels like a company-wide contribution and creation rather than the towns which are a bit of everyone’s creation right now-- as well as giving PVE players more agency over their own side of the game, ideally giving both sides more of a reward and less reliance on the other side.

There’ve been lots of changes that mollify the territory issue in recent months but I still think a stronger departure would be better, if not a full one. With forts I think there’d still be motivation enough for companies to fight. And they could still fight for influence in a zone for other bonuses of some kind, just not the permanent control + control over the tables. (Although again with things like storage and azoth changes this is much less prevalent a problem)

of course. i just think adding controlled instanced forts or controlled in game castles that companies can actually use could benefit all types of players. PVP, PVE, Casual, RolePlaying. i like to imagine RolePlayers experience becuase it would give them the ability to do everything. PVP and PVE. role up level up building skills and furnish skills and crafting skills. buying the land plot thats empty and build and level up the tier of a fort from the ground up. doing town missions for materials to use towards the upgrade of the fort all the while gives you building xp to make your fort even bigger. adding more rooms cellars training grounds farms etc etc. there so much you could do with an expansion like that.

Honestly liking everything I’m hearing. They could easily find ways to broaden it so it’s not even PVP exclusive (but, of course, possible by exclusively PVP too).

But like I just love the idea of more interactive player housing of any kind, company or otherwise. I’d love to see some of these changes hit the regular player housing too. Would make even more temptation for larger houses that have larger plots of land to them.

Right! even just expaning on the housing they already have and giving players the ability to do more with interaction.

@Luxendra whatcha think?

@Shadow_Fox

@Kay is another good one to ping! Saw you pinging a few people. I’m thinking that company guildhalls, revamp, company management tools, and company storage are a matter of when not if, but hopefully we see something in the roadmap.

Submitted this feedback on PTR. Start with a company shed in each faction enclave so we can share the learning documents (blueprints, music sheets, etc) and stockpile gathered materials for company crafters. Then when that is wildly successful, add a door to an instanced room where we can decorate a company guild hall or a plot of land that we can build on.
