Hi,
our company use the free transfer to change server.
We kick everyone from old comany, rename old company for be sure that name will not be used, and leave the only one member left ( me ) from the company.
But even with this we can’t use the old company name. We tried every day for a week or more without success. Someone stole the name in “minutes”? Old company name is Pirates of Scarlet Moon, and the temp new name is now Pirates of Scarlet Mo0n.

I do apologize about the unexpected experience you had within your play-through.
When you change a company name, the name is locked in our data base for 90 days. So if you regret and want to set back the same name you will face this message “Invalid name, name already taken”.
I hope this information has been provided you gives a great helpful insight.
Please let us the possibility to cut down drasticly this. Or to make manual request to the support

We’re facing the same situation here (trying to get our original name back, following governing changes) - having a lock on the name for a fixed period of time seems like a sensible thing, except all the information available (including direct support answers) tell us that (and I quote) “In regards to names lock, company names are not locked, when a company name is deleted is immediately available to be used globally.” (Source for the quote : Company Name Change - #5 by LuisC , 5 Oct. Other sources can be provided if needed, including a direct conversation with AGS Support)
Misleading information is to be expected on the wikis and fan sites - official support telling us factually wrong information is a different matter.
So : what can be done to resolve this issue, for which the support is directly responsible ?
Same issue for my company.
Should we contact support to resolve this, or the name we change 2 hours ago, before transfer, is definitely blocked for 90 days ?
Weeks ago support can’t do anything for out guilds
