No, I have not recently made and left one, or left one at all. I just logged in a new character, got to 10, then joined a faction. After that, I wanted to make a company so people would leave me alone, but no dice.

Thank you all so much for the patience, I have sent a written report to the developers to check if we need to do some other troubleshooting or if it is something they need to solve, as soon as I have an answer I will let you all know.

That’s not how it worked. My friend left a company yesterdya or 2 days ago and was able to create a new one instantly. And the same issue with company name goes for just trying to change your company name.

Agreed. I tried this yesterday and it worked within about 10 minutes of changing the company name to something else. Today however it isnt working.

Can confirm I have the same issue. I left my company and any combination of words or letters results in “Invalid Name”
This is pretty much a API<>Database thing. I don´t know how you´re developing this, but this looks like some case where info between game and database where company names returns something like “null” or some weird thing. Please solve this issue

Just tested and it is now working. Whatever they did on the backend fixed it moments ago

There’s another issue, inability to reject an invite to another company. Someone sent me one and I can’t reject it, clicking on the “x” button triggers a pop-up “you need to choose another governor to leave for another company”
Hello, I was Gov of a Company but disbanded it when we were going to join a new one. Needless to say it didnt work out and I want to recreate the company with the same name. How long will it take for that name to become available again or once its used it cannot be reclaimed? Its about 3 hours from the 24 hour period. Any answer or advice will help, thank you!
It doesn’t seem anyone knows. I can tell you from experience it can be over 24 hours for sure. I myself have this same problem. The window they’re giving out is incorrect.
Today it seemd to work fine i was able to create my company !
I gues it happens when you leave youre company you make once and try to make a new one its starting to bug out
I made a Company … then at like 2am my time, I changed the name just to see if something different was taken … it was not taken. I then tried to change my company name back to the original, and my original name was taken, and has still been taken over 48 hours later … I check a few times a day while playing … still taken. At this point however, I imagine it might have actually gotten taken by somebody else … but it is crazy to think that within what was basically 7 to 10 second window, that somebody else grabbed the name from me. So I lost my original company name due to curiosity and basically either bad luck, or a buggy system that prevented me from getting it back immediately, which then opened it up to others when I finally had to sleep

nah its not that when you use the name 1 time and you leave nobody can use that name anymore thats how it works
Thats fairly lame to have a company name being lost due to it simply being created. If the company name wasnt taken then the name should be allowed to be used as long as its not ACTIVELY in use as a company name. Its a change that I would hope that they fix

According to support, that is not the case. In various locations it says if you change a company name it becomes usable again immediately. Support told me it could take a few mins to free up tho … when I said it had been several hours, they only said “somebody else must have taken it then, sorry”
I deleted my company on one server and then had someone waiting on another server to remake, they sat for about an half an hour to make the clan and it kept saying name in use. I have also been trying since moving to the new server all day. There’s also zero chance someone took my clan name in the millisecond it was disbanded.
There must be an issue their side if I can’t make the clan as it is 100% free. I’d love to hear what the devs have to say regarding this as I want my clan name I’ve used for years and I also have 100 people waiting for me to create the clan. It’s upsetting to say the least
