Compass tracking not working even after restart

Does anyone have any solutions to the compass tracking bug besides a restart? It still isn’t working after multiple restarts.

  • What is your character name in New World: Noxious Blight
  • What server/world did you experience your issue on: Minotaur
  • Describe the issue you are experiencing: Even after restarting the game my compass will not track anything. It was previously working and just started being blank today
  • Is this a bug? Yes
  • (if a bug) How did the issue affect your gameplay: Can’t track. Very bothersome.
  • (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: No it is still bugged out

Verified game files, restarted, and my compass still isn’t tracking anything. @Centeotl

@Centeotl I have now uninstalled and reinstalled the entire game and my tracking is still not fixed. I do not think the bug is on the client side.

@Centeotl Just wanted to provide you one last update.

It was still not working last night - I then did a group run of Amrine and when I came out of the dungeon tracking was once again working. Very odd and I have not been able to identify the trigger at all. Just hope this helps the team identify something.
